Beta Kappa Mu (BKM) is a Muslim-founded sorority at Michigan State University, created to provide a safe, empowering space for women of all backgrounds to connect, grow, and lead.

We are more than a sorority, we are a community rooted in purpose, authenticity, and impact.

Our Story

Founded in 2025 at Michigan State University, Beta Kappa Mu was created to fill a gap, a space where Muslim women, and women from all walks of life, could belong, thrive, and lead.

Our founding line, B1: The Founding Flame, ignited a legacy rooted in empowerment, service, and sisterhood, one that continues to grow with each new member.
